Everytime, even in trying times, Joe Rhodes always had that smile for us and he and Bill usually shared some great stories. We will miss seeing that smile and we will miss Joe! Joe was one of the first friends I made in Columbia back in 1979. We stayed friends but lost touch the last 10 years or so. So sorry to hear of his passing he was a fine and good man he will be missed. Joe taught me alot of things about life and about Columbia and I will always be grateful for that.

When I moved to Columbia in 1963, Joe was the first person I met, and we were good friends from then on. Over the years I occasionally worked with him and we almost always attended the same motorcycle events. We always talked about our families and he was very proud of his. I will miss him.
