Trylee Lone Naylor

1941 – 2022

Trylee Lone Naylor, 80, of Fayette, passed away February 10, 2022 at Aspire Senior Living in Fayette.

Trylee was born in Fayette on June 10, 1941 the only child of Canter and Fratie Meade Naylor. He was a long-time farmer and especially enjoyed caring for his Angus and Hereford cattle.  A favorite hobby of Trylee’s was attending auctions and traveling, especially to the lake.  

Trylee and Liz Eakins had shared their life together for many years and he considered her family as his own.  Survivors include Liz Eakins of Fayette and his adopted family of ten children, Debbie Townlain of Boonville, James Orton of Texas, Kim Gilmore of Fayette, John Orton of Fulton, Julie White of Higbee, Danny Orton of Higbee, Mike Orton of Higbee, Tracy Orton of Fayette, Cathy Orton of Columbia and Steve Orton of Fayette; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 20 at Schnell Hall in Fayette from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

He will be buried at Fayette City Cemetery next to his mother at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
