It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor Bryce Snyder Gleason, 24, of Columbia, MO who died Thursday, November 21, 2024, at home with his mother, brother and father at his side after fighting a two-year battle against DSRCT cancer.
Trevor was born on August 18, 2000, in Jefferson City, Missouri at St. Mary’s Hospital, to Diane Natalie Phillips of Columbia, MO and Marc Donald Snyder Gleason of Yuma, AZ.
Trevor grew up playing soccer, football, baseball and basketball. He was also in Scouts. Trevor loved going to live hockey games and Six Flags with his family and friends. He enjoyed going to live baseball games with his grandfather as well.
Trevor has been a gamer since he was two years old. He played basketball throughout his middle and high school years. Trevor enjoyed spending quality time daily on nature trails and car rides during his battle with cancer. He also enjoyed spending days with his dog.
Trevor leaves behind his mother, Diane Natalie (Ziese) Phillips and his younger brother Sebastian Braydon Dunn Lewis, both of the home; his father Marc Donald Gleason (Cynde Franklin) of Yuma, AZ; his two uncles John Dennis Ziese (Tammie) of Kingdom City, MO and Michael Snyder Gleason of Yuma, AZ; his aunt Kathy Janet Center (Brian) of New Bloomfield, MO; his paternal grandmother Susan J. Gleason of Yuma, AZ; his maternal grandmother Kazuko Katashi of Japan.
Trevor was preceded in death by his stepfather Bobby Gene Lewis, his maternal grandfather Dennis Russell Ziese (Linda), and his paternal grandfather Donald Dean Gleason.
Public visitation is Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, from 1-3pm with funeral services beginning at 3pm at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. The family requests that everyone wear their favorite sports team outfit!
On December 7, 2024, a motorcycle hearse will arrive at 10am at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel for Trevor’s last ride. We would like all motorcycles and cars to follow a 30-minute ride throughout Columbia. The ride will end at Memorial Park Cemetery with a graveside service.
