Thomas “Tom” Singleton, 70, of Stoutsville, formerly of Columbia passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at home surrounded by family.
A Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.
Tom was born on June 28, 1949 in Columbia, the son of Thomas A. and Sarah Marie Hickam Singleton, who preceded him in death. May 1994, he married Teresa Rupe in Columbia. He worked in the construction field with builders, Roy Hampton, Sandy Cunningham and Elvin Sapp for many years. He then partnered with his uncle, John Hickam, in the construction business. He retired after 22 years as a route salesman for Pepsi.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa; son, Chris Singleton (Lisa) of Columbia; daughter, Nicole Maltsberger (Allen) of Columbia; step-son, Alex Long (Erika) of Paris; sister, Connie Kyi (Tuni) of Mission Viejo, California; four grandchildren, Tyler (Gina), Aubrey, Christina and Allie; two nieces, Tifany Minter and Crystal McNamara; great nieces, Dylan, McCartney, Tatum; great nephew, Hayes and his beloved dog, Gracie.
