Thomas Ray Ward passed away peacefully with his wife, Rachel Steele, by his side at 8:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, after losing his battle with cirrhosis.

Tom, a native of northern California, was a citizen of Fayette for nine years.  He was a kind man, always ready to help, who would give a stranger the shirt off his back if needed.

Born in Butler, TN on August 8, 1954, Tom was 69 years old at the time of his passing.  He leaves behind locally, his wife, Rachel Steel and father-in-law, Jim Steele.

A casual memorial service will be held for Tom on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Linn Memorial UMC in Fayette at 6:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tom Ward Memorial Fund at Commercial Trust Bank.
