With heavy hearts and grateful memories, we announce the passing of Thomas (Tommy) David Hutchison, 71, of Fortuna, Missouri, on June 19, 2026. Tommy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Tommy spent his life doing what he loved most—working on the farm, enjoying the outdoors either fishing, hunting with his dogs, and spending time with family. He was a farmer through and through, rising before the sun and never afraid of a hard day's work. When the work was done, Tommy could usually be found with a fishing pole in hand.

He is survived by his children, Craig Hutchison (Terri), Sarah Sanders (Daniel Fairfax), and Danny Hutchison (Alicia Guillen); his sisters JoAnn Lucas (Lanny) and Robyn Combs (Randy); grandchildren, Kylie and Ashley Hutchison, Emma, Lauren, and Jacob Sanders and Lily Fairfax, Henry (Selena) Guillen and Anna Guillen (Sha Leach); Great grandchildren Creed Leach, and Sebastian Guillen; Aunts Peggy Gage (Vernon) and Sally Crabtree (Larry). and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him.

He was preceded in death by Thomas Hutchison (Mildred) and Shirly Kruse (Gene), one brother Charlie Brondel, and niece Autumn Brondel.  

Though his tractor now rests and his fishing pole has been set aside, the legacy of a life well-lived remains. The fields he worked, the waters he fished, and the family he loved will forever carry his memory. We find comfort in knowing that he has found peace beyond the horizon and that his spirit will live on in every sunrise over the farm and every ripple across a quiet fishing pond.

A private service will be held at a later date.
