Sharon Elizabeth Weisser

Sharon Elizabeth Weisser, 77, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in Columbia, Missouri.

Sharon was born on December 21, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri to Harvey F. Weisser and Mildred M. Weisser (nee Cassidy).

Sharon moved to Columbia with her mother in 1989 from Phoenix, Arizona.  Columbia being the Cassidy family home, she became active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and did secretarial work for the church for several years. She spent much of her life traveling with her parents throughout many U. S. states.

Sharon is survived by her sister, Sandra K. Ford; her niece, Donna K. Hansen, (Stephen Sproull); her nephew, Alexander W. F. Hansen; her great-nephew, Maxwell A. Sproull and Tyler H. Sproull.  Cousin Mary Elizabeth Keiffer. Cousin Barbara Oliphant Knutson (Kris Knutson) of Columbia; and her special cat, Tigger, who brought her much comfort and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and a cousin.

A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 19, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 105 Waugh Street.  Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery, 30 East Broadway.

There will be no visitation.  Memorials can be made to Columbia Second Chance and/or Alzheimer's Association.
