Robert Lawrence Hail, 82, of Columbia, Missouri, peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on April 21, 2026.

Bob was born on April 5, 1944, the son of Paul and Alice (Bottoms) Hail. He married Joyce Meyer in 1976, and she survives of the home.  Bob served his country in the U. S. Navy.  

In addition to his wife, Bob is also survived by two brothers, David (Mikie) Hail and John (Cindy) Hail.  Five children, Theresa (Ken) Church, Dennise (Doug) Pyle, Dean (Brenda) Meyer, Robert (Theresa) Meyer and John (Elizabeth) Meyer.  Ten grandchildren, Steven (Lorren) Johnson, Nathaniel (Elizabeth) Meyer, Jeremy Mayer, Alexander Meyer, Samuel Meyer, Joshua Meyer, Amy (Jeffery) Howard, Crystal Wiebold, Hannah (Nick) Helms, Jennifer (Corey) Vaughn.  Sixteen great grandchildren, Payron, Joey and Ethan Johnson, Charlotte and Evelyn Meyer, Rowan and Cormac Meyer, Kaylyn Meyer, Maya and Jade Howard, Lilly and Elijah Wiebold, Shilo and Salome Helms and June and Forrest Vaughn.
