Nancy Brown Glasgow Obituary

     Nancy Louise Brown Glasgow, 59, passed away at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  Nancy was born on October 8, 1963 in Waynesville, MO to her parents, Thurman (Smokey) and Verda Ragain.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Donnie Ragain, Dennis Ragain, Larry Buckner, William (Bill) Sneed and significant other, Larry Brown.
     Survivors include her husband, Kenny Glasgow Moberly; two daughters, Lutisha Ragain and Leslie Ragain Columbia; ten grandchildren, Lorenzo, Yesenia, Alex, Adrianna, Christian, Ismaela, Aiden, Antonio, Oscar, Jr., and Luis Columbia; one great-granddaughter, Abri’ya and another expected to arrive in July 2023. Also surviving are four brothers, George E. Ragain (Carole) Licking, Harry L. Buckner (Pat) Licking, Steve Ragain (Sheila) Armstrong, Charles Ragain (Pat) Brunswick; four sisters, Judith Routh (Duane) Plato, Connie Riker (Albert) Armstrong, Dorothy Ousley (Victor Lee) Brunswick and Deloris McQueen (Steven) Macks Creek. She is also survived by one aunt, Lois Dill of Oak Grove and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
     During Nancy’s early childhood she resided with her parents and family in Plato and Laquey, MO.  When she was four the family moved to Triplett.  Nancy attended school in Mendon and resided several years in Chariton County and moved to Boone County where she was living at the time of her death.
     Nancy loved the outdoors enjoying camping and fishing.  She worked for several years at Banquet Foods in Marshall, later at Sherry’s Home Cooking in Brunswick and also as a Nursing Assistant.      Nancy loved her family and had a special place in her heart for them, especially her daughters and grandbabies.  She also loved her friends and others that called her Mom and Grandma.  Her family and friends will miss her hugs, laughter, smile, jokes and most of all her presence.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

     Memorial services honoring Nancy's life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 15 at the Brunswick Knights of Columbus Hall.
