Mitchell "Alan" Woodson

Mitchell “Alan” Woodson, 63, passed away on February 3, 2025, at University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics after a brief illness.

Alan was born May 9, 1961, in Columbia, Missouri, to Donald and Rose Marie (Long) Woodson.  Alan was a member of the Hallsville United Methodist Church (Parklane Community Church).  Alan loved spending time with his family, having barbecues with them.  He also enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Alan is survived by his mother, Rose; his daughter, Ashley Nichols (Nate); grandchildren, Mary Wren, Grayson Wren and Leland Wilson-Murray; three brothers, Donald Woodson, Jr. (Cathy), Mike Woodson (Ginger) and Charles Woodson (Joyce).

Alan was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wayne Woodson, Sr.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.  A Memorial Service will be held at Parklane Community Church at a later date.
