Michael Shawn Coffman

Michael Shawn Coffman Sr. passed away January 1st, 2022 at Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City, MO. 
   He was born October 30, 1973 in Quincy Il to Kenneth Ray and Patsy Karen (Londrie) Coffman. He attended Quincy Sr. High. He worked in construction, mechanics and maintenence.
  He enjoyed camping, fishing, nature, his motorcycle and the yearly neighborhood football with his family and friends growing up.
  He married Georgia Brown  September 19th 2013  Charleston, Mo.        He is survived by his wife, Georgia Coffman of Forest City, Il his mother, Patsy Deming of Quincy. a daughter  Chevey Marie Coffman, (Angela Skirvin), and children Elizabeth Lynn Coffman, Michael Shawn Coffman jr., Madison Nicole Coffman (Melissa Scronce Coffman) and a grand son Camden Michael Elliot, all of Quincy, Il. Also step-children; Dakota Brown of Pekin, Il, Falisha (Nick) Wages of Forest City, Il, Jessica Pherigo of Manito, Il and step grandchildren; Deykon, Karder, Wilder, Hudson, Koby, Brantley, Oaklie and his mother-in-law, Jo Lynn Scheiner of Manito, Il . He is also survived by his siblings; Tammy Nichols of Missouri, Johnny (Jaime) Reed Quincy il, Paula (Chuck Hazelrig) Uppinghouse of Plainville, Il and Rusty Rawson of Quincy, Il. and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews of Peoria and Quincy, Il, MO, UT, TX, and VA and an Aunt Jean Londrie of Beltone, Texas.
   He was preceded in death by his grand parents, gr nephew and a nephew, Cory Payne.
   A Celebration of Life Memorial and Dinner Benefit is planned by his mother, Patsy Deming, May 20th 2022 on her 79th birthday at Quincy Riverfront Keslar Park ,800 Bonasinga Drive, Quincy, Il  All family and friends are invited to share this special day. Pastor Steve Hayden will speak on behalf of our loved one.
    Memorials may be made to Gem City Monuments in Quincy, Il.
