Mary Ann Anglen, 97, of Columbia, Missouri passed away March 16, 2026, at Bluff Creek Terrace in Columbia.
Mary Ann was born in Fayette, Missouri on February 25, 1929, and was the daughter of Alfred Ewell Alexander and Idabelle Brightwell Alexander. She married Romie Foster Anglen on August 29, 1948.
Mary Ann was employed as a claim specialist with State Farm Insurance for 30 years. Mary Ann and Romie were active with Campers on Missions and World Changers. They enjoyed traveling and were members of Calvary Baptist Church. Mary Ann was also a member of the American Businesswomen and the Optimist Wives.
She is survived by her son William Ewell “Bill” Anglen and his wife, Margie of Paris, Missouri.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Romie; her parents, Alfred and Idabelle Alexander; her much loved granddaughter, Mary Bernice Anglen and her sister-in-law, Rowena Anglen.
A graveside service honoring Mary Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Fayette City Cemetery.
