Mary K. (McBaine) Acton

Mary K. Acton, 85, of Hallsville passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel with Pastor Travis Fritz officiating.  Family will receive friends from Noon until time for the service.  Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mary was born on July 1, 1934 in Columbia, the daughter of William Henry and Jewell Thornton McBaine, who preceded her in death.   She retired from 3M and was a member of Dripping Spring Christian Church. She was an artist and craftsman that enjoyed working with her hands and wanted everything done perfectly.  She was very kind and loving.

Mary is survived by her children, Charles Edward Acton (Patty) of Pilot Grove, Randy Acton (Diane) of Ashland, Mitchell Earl Acton of Columbia, Rhonda Kay Acton of Hallsville; siblings, Helen Turner of New Franklin, Henry Dale McBaine of Boonville and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.                      

Mary was preceded in death by siblings, William Junior McBaine, Ruth Harris and Frank McBaine.
