Marguerite Irene (Weingartner) Harvey

Marguerite Irene Harvey, 91, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022.

She was born on January 1, 1931, in California, Missouri the daughter of Jacob and Mary Strickfadden Weingartner and they preceded her in death.  On September 6, 1957, she married Dr. William Harvey and he preceded her in death in 1966, at which time she moved to Columbia.  After graduating from DePaul Nursing School in St. Louis, she was employed as a Registered Nurse for 30 years, retiring in 1995.  She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  She also volunteered in a number of charities, The Wardrobe and Parents Without Partners.

Marguerite is survived by her children, Rebecca Harvey (David Graves) of Overland Park, Kansas, William Paul Harvey, Jr. (Christine), Peter John Harvey, Patrick Joseph Harvey all of Columbia; two grandsons, Joseph and Jonathan.

A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  A private family burial will take place next to her husband at Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes, The Wardrobe or Meals On Wheels.
