Lois Fern Sublett, 94, of Fayette, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2022, at Praise Assembly of God Church with a visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. until time for the service.  A private family burial will follow the service at Millersburg Cemetery.

Lois was born March 10, 1928, Los Angeles, California, to the late Malvin Wayne and Ruth (Brown) Blacklock.  February 1979, she married Joab “Junior” Stublett and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2011.  She was a member of Praise Assembly of God Church, where she served as Church Treasurer for many years. She was employed with the University of Missouri as an accountant for twenty-five years.

She loved God, family and her Church.

Lois is survived by her son, James Sanders (Brenda) of Harrisburg; granddaughters, Kellie Terrell (Tim) of Fayette and Tobi Linneman (Damon) of Wooldridge, and three great grandchildren, Asa, Avery and Aubri.

She was also preceded in death by three siblings, C.W. Blacklock, Jean Webb and Thomas Blacklock.
