Linda Kay Carlos passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Born on February 4, 1953, in Fulton, MO, Linda was the daughter of William “Bill” Nichols and Cora Robinson, who preceded her in death. Linda was married to Eddie “Sheep” Carlos for 46 years who also preceded her in death.
Linda had a passion for designing and problem solving. Known for being selfless, caring, quick witted, and the cornerstone of her family. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Best known for her quilting and baking skills. Linda loved spending time with her family and was always their biggest supporter.
She is survived by her children: Jennifer Creason (Rusty), Columbia, MO, Melissa Meritt (Rocky), Greenfield, IA, Chris Carlos (Julee), Columbia, MO, David Carlos (Teresa), Columbia, Cynthia Roth, Otterville, and Anthony Bell, Columbia, MO. Grandchildren, Justin Carlos, Jessica Aldridge, Ethan Williams, Cory Griggs, Emma Carlos, Emmett Carlos, Steven Daugherty, Gavin Pettig, Garrett Pettig, Nick Meloy, Mason Meloy, Hunter Creason, Fisher Creason, Blake Bell, Carter Bell, Brady Bell, and Cole Bell; great grandchildren, Nolan Aldridge, Nathon Aldridge, Hartlee Aldridge, Maverick Aldridge, Everett Griggs, Malcom Griggs, Treyson Meloy, Robin Pettig and Parker Carlos; siblings, Price Nichols (Lisa), Ashland, MO and Lloyd Nichols (Mary), Ashland, MO.
She was preceded in death by: sister, Loraine Harmon, granddaughter, Kara Calvin and grandson, Kyle Wright.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Eagles Lodge.
