Lauren Ann Cook, 25, resided in Kansas City, MO, formerly of Columbia, passed away on May 25, 2025.


Lauren was born May 25, 2000, in Columbia, Missouri, to Derek Lee and Lisa Ann (Hutchinson) Cook.


Lauren’s favorite activities included crafting, hiking, going to concerts and listening to music.  She was also an avid fan of true crime shows and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 


Lauren is survived by her mother, Lisa McQuegge (Bill); siblings, Conner Lee Cook, Chris McQuegge (Erin), and Morgan Dowdy (Mitch), grandmother, Beverly Davies and six nieces and nephews; Aiden, Austin, Cooper, Rae Lynn, Allie and Stella; aunt and uncle, Ereka Copeland (Craig); uncle, Repps Goodson and cousins, Andrew and Olivia Copeland, Drake and Tinsley Goodson.


Lauren was preceded in death by her father, Derek Lee Cook, grandmother and grandfather Galen and Sherry Harper, grandfather, James Hutchinson and great-grandmother Faye Jeffries.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time for the service.
