Obituary

Lacy Jordan, Jr., 67, passed away on January 27, 2022 as a result of an auto accident.

Lacy was born in Tiller, Arkansas on January 28, 1955, the son of Lacy, Sr. and Christella Martin Lacy and they preceded him in death.  Lacy served his country in the U. S. Army during 1973.  He attended BC  Prewitt Elementary in Reed, Arkansas.  In the early 1960’s his family relocated to St. Louis.  Through the years he met and married his now estranged wife, Janice and through that union they had a son, Tommy Thomas, who preceeded him in death.  Lacy enlisted in the U. S. Army in the 1970s and after working several different jobs in St. Louis, he moved to Columbia where he lived for the remainder of his life.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Tasha Nicole Gary (Jevon) and Makala Renee Turner all of Columbia; his sister, Mary Jordan of St. Louis; step children, Mariio Thomas and Paula Thomas, Ebony Frederick, Kevin and Shawn Turner; sisters, Mary, Ella, Roslyn, Della (Eli), Cheryl, Jacklyn; brothers, Joe, James (Denise), Archie (Nancy), Moses (Teresa),John Wayne (Denise), Bobby Joe; eleven grandchildren;  nephew, Frankie Jordan of St. Louis and special friend, Gloria Simpson.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Thomas; grandson, Justin Aman, Jr., brothers, Johnnie Ray, Willie Charles, Gregory K. Tony; a sister, Goloria Jean.

Memorial services to be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2021 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel have been canceled!.
