Juanita Marie Winegar

Juanita “Skeeter” Marie Winegar, 67, of Eldon, Missouri, formerly of Columbia, passed away
peacefully on February 3, 2026, at Capital Region Medical Center. Juanita was born on September
7, 1958, to John and Celesta (Thralls) Winegar.

Juanita worked as a Grants Administrator for The University of Missouri, and then The University of
Auburn before retiring in 2019.

When she wasn't working, she enjoyed many different hobbies, including crocheting, quilting,
spending time in nature, and studying her families genealogy.

Juanita is survived by her Mother, Celesta Jett, sons, Stefan Dantzler (Heather) and Derrick Neuner
(Meagan), her siblings Janice Henry (Jeff), Julia Powers (Terry), Robert Jett Jr. (Recca), and
Raymond Jett (Robin), and her grandchildren, Emily-Michelle Dantzler, Stefan Patrick Dantzler, Emilia
Neuner, and Madeline Neuner, and several nieces and nephews.

Juanita is preceded in death by her father, John Winegar, and her step-father Robert Jett, Sr.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Bach-Yager Funeral
Chapel, 1610 North Garth Avenue, Columbia, MO, from 2-4 p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in lieu of
flowers.
