Joy Louise Weir, 69, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Joy’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 101 S Collier St, Centralia, MO 65240.
Joy was born on July 30, 1956, in Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles Jerome and Lorene Crystal (Rhodes) Smith. On February 14, 1994, she married Brent H. What she enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends. She was loved, blessed, and will be missed by many!
Joy is survived by her sons, Anthony O’Rourke, Shawn (Courtney) O’Rourke and Scott O'Rourke; two sisters, Judy (Willis) English and Linda (Mark) Fennewald; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
