Jessie Jackson McDonald, 61, of Harrison, Arkansas and formerly of Urania, Louisiana, passed away at his home on July 4, 2021.
Jessie was born in Houston, Texas on June 7, 1960 a son of Clifton McDonald, Sr. and Dorothy Tezon McDonald. He was a truck driver and enjoyed his family, going to church, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Justin McDonald and Jeremy McDonald and wife, Kyra; four daughters, Jessica McDonald (Sal Miletello), Tabitha McDonald (Billy Thomas), Misty McDonald (Jamie Earnhart) and Brittany Poole; a sister, Melody Ann McDonald Robinson; grandchildren, Anna McDonald, Emilee Turner, Gracie McDonald, Tori McDonald, Bobby Earnhart, Audrey Ramsey, Zoey Poole and Cutler Poole and several area cousins.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Debbie Purvis and Jeanne Horton and most recently by a brother, Clifton Bobby McDonald and two aunts, Betty Carmichael and MaryAnn Jackson.
Funeral services honoring Jessie’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin, Missouri with Rev. Michael Keith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jessie will be buried next to his mother at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Boonville, Missouri.
