Jeffery Neil Reisch

Jeffery Neil Reisch, age 65, of Columbia, Missouri passed from this life to the next on January 29, 2026, after a 6-month battle with cancer.

Jeff was born on February 11, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri to M. Neil and Marlene (Bertelsman) Reish Carpenter. Jeff was married to Cheri Toalson Reisch and from that union had two sons, Jason and Eric.  Jeff was later married to Carolyn Anderson.  Jeff was a born-again Christian.

Jeff worked in the transportation field throughout his life.  Up to the time of his death, he worked at Fabick-Cat in Columbia, where he loved his job and co-workers.  He previously owned Reisch Trucking Company and worked for the City of Columbia and various trucking companies.

His hobbies included golfing, fishing, boating, skiing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was a huge KC Chiefs and MU Tigers fan.  He was a graduate of Hallsville High School.  Jeff was a clown and made everyone laugh.

Jeff leaves behind his sons, Jason (Sarah) Reisch, Richland, Missouri and Eric Reisch, Hallsville; grandchildren, Emma, Kierstin, and Abigail Reisch.  Siblings, Janet Bradshaw, Joan (Loren) Biggers, and James (Peggy) Reisch; his stepmother, Carolyn Reisch, many nieces and nephews and his “granddogs”, Axton and Naya.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Liberty Baptist Church, 7461 N. Brown Station Road, Columbia, MO 65202.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service.  Private family burial will follow the service at the Church of Christ Cemetery, Hallsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
