James “J.D.” Roberts, 81, of Columbia, passed away on July 27, 2022 at home with his wife, Jen, by his side.

J.D. was born on August 6, 1940, in Bemidji, Minnesota, to the late James G. and Alma (Gingirich) Roberts.  On November 8, 1962, he married Bonnie Lewis in Columbia and she preceded him in death on May 9, 1999.  He later married Jen Barneso in the Philippines on January 28, 2014 and she survives.  J.D. was an airline pilot for many years before retiring in 1985.

A graveside committal service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel starting at 9:00 AM until time for the graveside service.
