Eva Sue Calvin passed September 14, 2023. 

She was born at Noyes Hospital, Columbia, July 19, 1937, to Waldo and Nannie Mae (Fenton) Palmer.  She graduated from Hickman High School in 1955, and was proud to be a Kewpie!  She was married for a time to David Calvin, and they had three daughters.

Most of her working career was in banking.  She was retired from the customer service area of First National Bank in Columbia and loved to reminisce about her coworkers and customers.  She enjoyed listening to nearly all genres of music, dancing, working puzzle books, watching old movies and tv shows, playing cards and games, traveling along country roads, and visiting historic sites. 

Eva Sue leaves to mourn her loss her three daughters, Tara (Michael) Cox, Lori (Tom) Rourke, and Mia (Charles) Metscher, all of Columbia.  Four grandchildren, Malinda (Ben) Saccomanno, Sam (Libby) Rourke, Sarah (Chase) Rourke and Lucy Rourke, and one great-grandchild, Madeline Rourke.  Siblings, Betty Ruth Palmer, Don Palmer, Martha Palmer and Charles (Sally) Palmer, and 3 nieces, Sheri Anderson, Kim Hatfield and Cathy Mundy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Elsworth and Joel Palmer, and two infant children. 

Celebration of Life gathering will be from 2:00-3:30 PM, Friday, November 24, 2023, at Waters House, 2104 HIllcrest Drive, Columbia, MO 65201.
