Elva Louise Finn-Ferguson, 61, passed away on September 6, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Elva was born October 14, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late William “Bill” and Mary Finn.  She served people at the Midway Diner for many years and enjoyed meeting people.  Elva was a “people person” that loved everyone she met.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Elva is survived by her husband, Fred; son, John Trimble (Ashley); daughter, Hanna Tharp; sister, Angie Ponder; three grandchildren, Avery Trimble, Kynston Trimble, and Kyren Trimble; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Finn and a sister, Sherrie.

Elva’s visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4:00 PM.
