Earl Wayne Salmons , Jr of Columbia, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Earl was born October 14, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Earl and Alice Medley Salmons, they preceded him in death along with his brother Anthony Lee Salmons.
Earl is survived by his children, Earl Salmons, III, and Dominique Johnson; and siblings Cynthia Letting, Carlos Lee, Kim Salmons, Lynette Maxwell, Willetta Hudson, Shelia Salmons, Tracy Miller (Jerry), Charles Salmons, Cassandra Johnson and Aleka Thompson.
Earl graduated from Louisiana High School, Louisiana, Mo where he excelled in football, basketball and track. Earl attended Central Methodist University on a football and track scholarship.
Earl joined MetLife as a Sales Leader during that time he realized his love of entrepreneurship, thus creating his own contracting business working with various real estate properties in Columbia, MO.
Earl coached boys and girls basketball leagues for thirty-five years, primarily focusing on girls basketball. Under his coaching leadership approximately 90% of girls completing the program were able to achieve a scholarship to universities and colleges across the United States.
Earl lived for Basketball and any sporting activity.
