1955 – 2022


Ceno “Earl” McGee, 67, of Centralia passed way December 3, 2022.


Earl was born in Columbia on February 3, 1955.  He was employed with Atkins Pest Control in Columbia prior to retirement.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved his dogs.  He especially loved spending time with his friends and family.  His other favorite activities included listening to old time country music, especially Willie Nelson and Hank Williams, Jr. and collecting Native American memorabilia and horseback riding.


Those left to cherish Earl’s memory include his mother, Leona Arlene McGee and her partner, Eldon Smith of Boonville; a sister, Diana Farrar and husband, Terry of Ashland; a brother, Mike McGee and wife, Tracy of New Franklin; several nieces and nephews including Greg McGee, Jesse McGee, Melissa Rice, Miranda Brauer, James Wyatt, Brandon McGee, Amanda Kishpaugh and Machaela McGee; great-nieces and nephews, Austin Berendzen, Lisa Benedict, Leah Benedict, Lexi Benedict, Shane Knight, Kylie Rice, Reese Riley, Mariah McGee and Ethan Lammers and great-great niece, Lilliann Berendzen and his friends.


Earl was preceded in death by his father, James Earl McGee; two brothers, James Lester McGee and Johnny Berle McGee and a niece, Marcella Dawn.


A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel in Columbia with Pastor Wayne Purvis officiating.


Memorial contributions are suggested to the Central Missouri Humane Society.
