Donald Ray Triebsch, 83, a 50-year resident of New Franklin, passed away on June 9, 2026, at The Lodge in Fayette.

Don was born on the family farm in Nelson, Missouri on April 26, 1943, a son of Theodore and Mary Hackman Triebsch.  He married Sharon Fullrich in Jamestown, Missouri on October 24, 1964.  Sharon survives at their home.

Don was employed with Ameren UE for 30 years until his retirement.  He was a member of the New Franklin Lions Club.  Don enjoyed the outdoors – hunting, fishing and caring for his vegetable garden.  He was a St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou Basketball fan and enjoyed playing cards and blue grass music.  Don loved to tell stories about growing up in the country and going out to breakfast at the Miracle Cup with Sharon where he loved lively debates from everything from the best tomatoes for the garden to politics and everything in between.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon; his children, Donald Triebsch, Jr., Mark Triebsch (Jane), Ron Triebsch (Paula), Jim Triebsch (Holly) and Donna Widel; sisters, Mary Nall, Ruth Ulmer and Betty Wilson (Richard); brother, Lloyd Triebsch (Sharon) and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Mary Triebsch and by brothers, Ted and Bill Triebsch.

Services celebrating and honoring Don’s life will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday until the service begins.

Interment will follow the service at Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jamestown.
