Dennis Ray Bennett

Dennis Ray Bennett, 70, of Columbia, MO, went home to his Lord on November 21, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.

Dennis was born, April 11, 1953, to the late Harry and Marie (Mitchell) Bennett.  On February 14, 1975, he married Christiane Alkire in Nevada, Missouri.  He was a member of Forum Christian Church.  Dennis was a believer in Christ and very strong in his faith.  Dennis retired this past January, after 45 years with Ameren as a Supervisor.  He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Christiane; his daughters, Krista (Curt) Kippenberger and Kimberly (Neal) Lorenz; and five grandchildren, Kaydence Kippenberger, Matti Kippenberger, Wyatt Lorenz, Bryce Lorenz, and Laney Lorenz.

Dennis was also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Wayne Bennett and Merl Dean Bennett.
