Delmar "Del" Eugene Finley

Delmar “Del” Finley, 77, Columbia, went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Del was born June 25, 1946, in Randles, Missouri, to the late Thomas Eugene and Drucille Irene (Hitt) Finley. On May 27, 1995, he married Sharlet Louise Monroe in Columbia, and she survives of the home.  He served his country in the U. S. Army and in the Army Reserves.  He taught elementary grades in the Columbia Public schools, owned rental property and was a landlord for over 30 years.  He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2024, at Grandview Baptist Church with Pastor Marcus Blair officiating.  Family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time for the service.  Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery.
