Brent H. Weir, 70, a resident of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2022, at University Hospital & Clinics, surrounded by his loving family.
Brent was born on August 22, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Max Eugene and Vermont J. (McCoskey) Weir.
Brent served in Vietnam with the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Brent enjoyed being an entertainer – DJ, ventriloquist, illusionist. He had a Gold Record for Halloween Sounds. He loved fishing and hunting for Morel mushrooms.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his mother, Monty Weir of Sullivan, Indiana; wife, Joy L. Weir of Columbia; daughters, Melinda Mueller of Blue Springs, Trisha Giles of Independence; brother-in-law, Robert Morton of Spring Hill, Kansas; grandson, Isiah Wheeler and great grandson, Isiah Wheeler, Jr.
Brent was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Melissa Morton and a grandson, Quintin Dewberry.
