Beverly June (Stull) Parr

Beverly June (Stull) Parr, 82, of New Franklin passed away April 17, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Beverly was born on November 10, 1943, in Warsaw, MO to Roy and Dimple Relaford Stull.  She married William “Bill” Parr on May 21, 1961.  To this union was born two children, Deborah June and William Steven Parr.

Professionally, Beverly was employed by the New Franklin School District beginning in 1964 as a secretary until retirement after 60 years of service in 2024 as Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools, District Bookkeeper and Board of Education Secretary.

Beverly was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Franklin.  She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge Athens #383 and the Odd Fellows Far West #4 Lodge and had several offices in both organizations.  She was also a leader in New Franklin Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  She enjoyed flower gardening and canning vegetables from her garden.  Beverly also had an extensive collection of angel and eagle figurines and salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Parr Laupp (Darren) and Steven Parr (Alicia); grandchildren, Michael Wayne Laupp (Mari-Jean Louise), Rebekah Nicole Laupp (Hunter Wichmann), William Charles Parr (Hope Kirkpatrick); step-grandchildren, Staton Michael Zaner, Emily Marie Threlkeld (Dakota) and Christian James Zaner; great-grandchildren, Clark Hubert Laupp and Felicity Jean Laupp; a sister, Wilma Keightley (George); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Parr on February 2, 2024; and by her brothers, Roy, Ray, Charlie, J.W., and Murl Stull and by sisters, Ruby McKackin, Christine Howard and Mildred Shull.

Funeral services honoring Beverly’s life will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev. Chris McGowan officiating.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Following the funeral, Beverly will be buried at Shiloh Cemetery near Warsaw, MO.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the DCI Foundation Division-Boonville Clinic in honor of Beverly.
