Beverly “Bev” Ann Ford, 73, of Hallsville, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2023 at Boone Hospital Center.
Bev was born October 6, 1949, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to the late Harry Edward and Ruth Agnes (Frey) Brill. She graduated from Warren Hills High School in Washington, New Jersey in 1968. In February 1992, she married Vernon Ford. She worked many years at Kmart and residential housekeeping.
She was a member of the Kmart Retirees Group and was a former member of Arnett Busy Bees. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and cooking. Her family remembers her as a very humble, loving, and good-hearted person. Her favorite color was purple.
Bev is survived by her husband Vernon of Hallsville; daughters, Tracy (Mike) McGee of New Franklin and Jackie (Dale) Scheumann of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; brother, Charlie Brill of Rocheport; twin sister, Barbara (Ed) Meshach of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Amanda Kishpaugh, Machaela McGee, Brandon McGee, Brady Scheumann, Rachel Scheumann, Clara Scheumann and Jackson Scheumann and two great grandchildren, Mariah McGee and Reese Riley.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ed Brill.
Bev’s visitation is scheduled Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, both at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kevin Leiby officiating. The burial will follow the service at Smith Chapel Cemetery.
