Anna Marie (Knight) Young

Anna Marie Young, 49, passed away on November 23, 2025, at the Boone Hospital Center.

Anna was born on July 29, 1976, in Marshall, Missouri.  Anna is survived by her parents, Nelson William and Violet Joan (Jones) Knight. Anna had worked in various nursing homes as a nurse’s aide. She loved working around older people and listening to them talk and tell stories. She was a friendly and caring person.

Anna enjoyed watching street racing and playing video games. She enjoyed looking through different cookbooks and finding different recipes. She collected ceramic frogs, pigs and dolphins. She loved animals, especially her dogs.

In addition to her parents, Anna is survived by her son, Michael Knight; brother, David Knight; and half-brother, Donnie Pettit.

Anna was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Knight.
