Anita Neer, 90, of Columbia, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2024.

  Private graveside services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Friday prior to the graveside service.

  Anita was born November 12, 1933, in Columbia to the late George and Daisy (Nichols) Alfred.  In May 1954 she married Don Neer in Columbia.  She was a founding member of Grace Bible Church.    

   Anita is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Phil) Davidson and Kathy (Selman) Akyol of Columbia; sister, Dorothy Morris of Columbia and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

   She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don, a daughter, Debbi Wills, a sister, Shirley Alfred, and a brother-in-law, Gene Morris.
