Alan Edward Haas, 74, of Centralia, passed away on January 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Alan was born in Joliet, Illinois on May 19, 1947, son of  Elmer and Lucille (Hau) Haas who preceded him in death.  On February 10, 1973, he married Noreen Sheehan in Hillside, Illinois.  She survives at their home.

Alan served his country in Vietnam in the U. S. Navy from 1966-1967.  He was a member of VFW Post 280 in Columbia.  He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Alan is survived by his children, Alan Haas, Jr. (Teri) of Jefferson City, Megan Enyart (Chris) of Hallsville, Bridgit Samuels (Jason) of Centralia; seven grandchildren, Mia, Hannah, Chloe, Lydia, Daniel, Natalie, Kaeylnn; two brothers, Gary Haas of Moscow Mills and Curt Haas of Orland Park, Illinois and two sisters, Kathleen Begy (Jack) of New Lenox, Illinois and Therese Doorneweerd (Dave) of Lockport, Illinois.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jayden Haas and a brother, Howard Haas.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time for the service.              .
