Teresa Tometich Obituary

Teresa Tometich, 69, of Fulton, formerly of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

There are no funeral plans.

Teresa was born October 22, 1948, in Carrollton, Illinois to Donald and Kaete Schmidt Sears. She received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Missouri-St. Louis. Teresa retired in 1988, after 22 years with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as Supervisor. Prior to her time with the DESE she taught in the Early Childhood Education field. She was a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Tometich of Fulton; daughters, Molly (Leon) Wulff of Westphalia and Jennifer (Lew) Odum of Creve Coeur, Illinois; a brother, Ron (Kathy) Sears of Jerseyville, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Murphy and Bailey Backus.
