Susan (Susie) Lorine Ballew

1923 – 2017

Susie Ballew, 94, Columbia, MO passed away August 7, 2017 at Parkside Manor. 

She was born to the late Herbert and Beulah Purvis, February 28, 1923 in Franklin, MO.

Susie retired from Ellis Fischel State Cancer Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her brothers:  John, Harold and Gregory, sisters: Dorothy and Orpha.  Susie is survived by her children: Wayne (Dorothy), Lee’s Summit,MO; Ron (Terri), Lexington, MO; Don( Nora), Columbia, MO and Janet Childs, Independence,MO; eleven grandchildren, many wonderful and loving great and great-great grandchildren and a large extended family.

Services will be at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation Saturday, August 12 at 10am, followed by funeral at 11am.       

 Private burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville.

Memorial donations may be made to Preferred Hospice of Missouri.
