Robin was born December 2, 1955, in Brookfield to Robert C. and Shirley R. Jacobs Carter.

Robin is survived by her mother; two daughters, Krystal (Daniel) Lange of Columbia, Teresa (Brandon) White of Hubert, NC; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
