Minnie Rose Calvert, 83, of Columbia, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017.

Minnie was born to Luther and Eula S. Thomas Crump on August 7, 1934, in Ashland, Missouri. On July 25, 1953, she married Wilford Glenn Calvert in Boone County and he preceded her in death.  She was employed at University Hospital and Clinics from March 1958 until May 1988.  Minnie listened to country music and enjoyed doing the Two-Step and singing karaoke.                           .

Survivors include her son, Orville Calvert of Columbia; two brothers, Jr. Crump of Ashland and Wayne Crump (Marie) of Ashland; eleven grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.        

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, seven sisters and a grandson.

A funeral service will be held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2017.  The family will receive friends from at 12:30 p.m. until time for the service.   Burial will follow the service at Oakland Cemetery.
