Donald Wayne Friedrich, age 64, formerly of Fayette, passed away January 30, 2018 in Laddonia, Missouri.

Donald was born in Fayette on October 31, 1953 a son of Edward C. Friedrich, Jr. and Frances Lay Friedrich.  He was employed at the University of Missouri for over 27 years, retiring in June 2017.  Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming with his son.  He was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Survivors include his mother, Frances Friedrich of Fayette; three sons, Robert Friedrich, Sr. and wife, Kayla , Corey Friedrich both of Mexico and Stacey Friedrich of Fulton; his former wife, Christine McCormick; a sister, Suzanne Mueller of Rochester, MN; two grandchildren, Isabelle and Robert Friedrich, Jr. and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Janice Owen.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Paula Ritchie officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette.
