Carman Dee Schultz, 88, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Fairview United Methodist Church. 

Carman was born to Samuel and Thelma Shannon Nisbet on October 20, 1929, in Murphysboro, Illinois and they preceded her in death.  She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church where she faithfully sang in the choir and played the organ. 

Carman is survived by her children, Mark Schultz (Susan) of Sturgeon, Patty Alfermann of Columbia, Ann Schultz of St. Louis, and Mike Schultz of St. Louis; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to:  Fairview United Methodist Church or The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, c/o Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave., Columbia, MO 65202.

The family would like to thank the Stuart House in Centralia for their care and compassion in caring for Carman.
