1957 – 2017

Troy Lee Offineer, Sr., of Boonville, passed away at his home on April 21, 2017.  He was 59 years old.

Troy was born in Columbia, MO on December 18, 1957, a son of the late Mancel Eugene Offineer and Frances Andrews Offineer.  He was employed at A& W Restaurant in Boonville for over twenty years and was just preparing to retire.  He loved his “Papa Burgers” at A& W.  Troy loved his family and they loved him.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his vinyl LP records and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Survivors include his sons, Troy Lee Offineer, Jr. and Jason Leo Offineer both of Sedalia; two brothers, David Offineer of Boonville and Larry Offineer of Eldon; three sisters, Rita Hillman of Boonville, Linda Volden of Sedalia and Dodie Conley of Columbia and his much loved grandchildren, Gaige, Tristen, Aliyah, Allie, Kyle and Riley.  Also cherishing his memory are aunts and uncles including Carolyn Volden, Louise Boggs and Alan Ray Boggs, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Offineer and a sister, Linda Green.

Services honoring his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Troy Lee Offineer, Sr. Grandchildren’s Education Fund.
