Rickey Allen Goins

Rickey Goins, 61, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at home surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.

Rickey was born March 13, 1956, to John R. and Carol E. Hayes Goins.  On March 30, 1991, he married Lori Marett in Centralia, Missouri and she survives. He was employed as a PSR in the Radiology Department at the University Hospital and Clinics.  He loved to cook and be out of doors, hunting and fishing.

He is also survived by his mother, Carol Goins of Columbia; two sons, John (Brittany) Paul of Centralia, Andrew (Kati) Goins of Evansville, Indiana; two daughters, Tamara Miller of Plattsburg, Missouri, Molly Paul of Columbia; a brother, John “Randy” Goins of Columbia; and eleven grandchildren.

Rickey was preceded in death by his father, John R. Goins.
