Mr. Oerhle was the principal at North Park school when I was a student there. He was such a nice man. He took me to the bus when I was too scared to get on and sat on the bench in the hallway with me when my dog died. You never forget people like that. I thought about him many times while I was a teacher myself.

Mr. Oehrle was a principle when I attended Central School in 3rd or 4th grade. I remember that he was so kind and always talked to the kids. He was a true educator.

Mr, Oehrle was a wonderful man and as mentioned in his obituary he did not let Crohns disease control him. He was my oldest son principal at North Park and he always took time to show he cared about the students and talk to the parents.
Sending prayers from Leslie Redding and Cedric Redding (my son). May the memories you all shared live on in your heart and help you through this difficult time and years ahead.

Mr. Oehrle was my first and favorite principal. He was such a wonderful leader and so kind to me as a first year teacher. He was a very compassionate man and I will always think kindly of him. So very sorry.

When I began my teaching career at North Park in 1976, Mr. Oehrle was my first principal. He was patient with a new inexperienced teacher and helped me learn how to deal with students, other staff, and parents. He was caring and always had a smile for the students. However, he expected the students and teachers to tow the line. It was an atmosphere of mutual respect. I taught at North Park for seven years and they were the best seven years of my teaching career. It was a different time back then and though we worked hard it was not as stressful as teaching has become today. I will never forget Mr. Oehrle when I was expecting my first son, Matt. He was so caring and always asked how things were going when I would return from my check-ups. My mom came in the building with me, as she often did to help me change bulletin boards etc., and Mr. Oehrle asked her what he was supposed to do if I went into labor at school and she replied, "Boil water." After that, he insisted that I stay home until after the baby came. Matt was born two days later! I think he was relieved he didn't have to boil any water. Mr. Oehrle also rehired me when I returned to teaching after taking a leave of absence to be a mom. I will never forget how much I appreciated that. I know he will be missed by many.

With sadness, we say goodbye and let go of my only brother.
May he find freedom, release, connection and the ability to express
and assert his heart’s desire in his return to the universe.
